Have you ever tried to have variety in your morning routine only to have it fall back into the same old rut you were trying to get out of in the first place? My daughter was complaining to me one morning that she was tired of the same old breakfast of toast, eggs, or cold cereal. She is definitely old enough to get herself fed in the mornings, so this was a result of her choices. But I can't say that I wasn't in the same rut right along with her. So I decided to do something about it.

The result was a simple book of breakfasts that we all enjoy. The contents of the book was a mix of pictures of the things we new how to make without a recipe, and some items that would be helpful to have the recipe on hand. It was a great hit with my family. They could quickly look through the booklet and choose what they wanted to make themselves for breakfast. This booklet also made it easy to hand around Friday evening at dinner and have everyone

agree on what nice breakfast we should make for our

Saturday Morning Family Breakfast.

The hardest part of making the booklet was gathering the recipes. That is what took the longest. You don't have to make the booklet like mine, laminated sheets spiral bound into a complete booklet. You can simply gather recipes, print them out, and have them on hand to look at. I do love having them organized and laminated though. Less chance of loosing recipes and the laminate makes it

easy to clean if I spill vanilla on it! Create your own and have fun

adding variety to your morning.
