Simple Desserts
Cooking from scratch is so much better when you begin adding desserts to your menu.

Apple Crisp
Ingredients:

4 cups fruit
-
½ cup oats
-
½ cup flour
-
½ cup brown sugar
-
½ cup butter
Instructions:

Put fruit in dish.
-
Mix topping and sprinkle over.

Bake at 350°F for 30–35 minutes.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients

1/2 cup plant-based butter, softened
-
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
-
1/3 cup granulated sugar
-
1 large egg
-
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
-
1/2 tsp baking soda
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
1 tsp corn starch
-
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup chocolate chip
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease your baking sheet.

Mix the butter and sugars together.

Beat in the egg until totally combined. Add the vanilla. Mix in the baking soda, salt, and corn starch.

Add the flour and mix well.

Add the chocolate chips.

Scoop dough balls 2 Tbsp in size and place on your prepared baking sheet.

Bake cookies at 350°F for 10-12 minutes or until just slightly browned at the edges.

Allow the cookies to cool for 1-2 minutes on the baking sheet before carefully removing to a cooling rack.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
